About RailWatch

Founded in 2008, RailWatch provides car hire receivables accounting and auditing services for owners of railcars.

Born out of a need of today's railcar owners for accurate accounting of their equipment, thorough research of all issues that arise with their equipment and diligent pursuit of all open accounts. No company in the industry today performs these tasks at this level. Most rely on automated processes to handle large volumes of equipment with a minimum of resources. Although this increases our competitor’s profits, their clients, the railcar owners, are not realizing the full potential of their equipment.

The philosophy of RailWatch is to use automation as a tool rather than a business principle.

We free up our human resources so that they may interact with our clients and railroad resources to maximize the profits of our railcar owners.

About the Founders

Keith Barton, President

Mr. Barton has a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech in Information and Computer Science and brings over 15 years experience in the railroad industry. Mr. Barton’s railroad experience began as a computer programmer and his experience includes working in railroad service sales as well as managing Car Hire Receivables departments. Well known and respected in the railroad industry, Mr. Barton provides the industry knowledge and sales contacts necessary to the success of RailWatch.

Ashley Corbitt, Secretary/Treasurer

Mr. Corbitt is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. Responsible for the financial reporting of the company and communication with financial institutions, investors and customers and vendors in financial matters, Mr. Corbitt has worked in the business community for the last 33 years focusing in the areas of taxation, planning and operations of small to medium sized businesses. His extensive experience in business management keep the day-to-day operations of Railwatch running smoothly.
